Nim Haas

Founder & Managing Director

Nim has been working in marketing and the tech sector for over 20 years. Having grown up and lived in various countries from France, Australia, Singapore, Monaco, America, UK and Spain, she is a true melting pot of culture, and has frequently used this to her advantage in understanding cross-cultural differences, and how this impacts business decisions especially when defining marketing and comms strategies across borders.

 

Within the first year of launching her agency, TechFuse was awarded ‘Best B2B Specialist Marketing Agency of the Year',  in the Fintech Awards 2021 category by Wealth and International Finance. Prior to founding her B2B marketing agency, Nim provided marketing and communication consultancy for numerous companies in Fintech, Paytech and Regtech sectors. She also led the global marketing for Global Processing Services, the issuer processor behind Fintech disruptors such as Revolut, Starling Bank, Xinja, Curve, Soldo, Pleo and Anna Money.

Her dedication to her role and the sector she works in can be seen through her involvement in various initiatives she undertakes. She is a business mentor at Barclay Rise, Global Exco Board Member at Global Fintech Impact Forum, Founding member of b-yond.co, Founder of The Payments Clinic, Advisory Board member for CCGroup PR, Advisory Board member for Women in Tech, Global Movement and Advisory Board Member at Emerging Fintech Forum.

She has been recognised by the Holmes Report amongst the top 25 Innovators in Marketing & Communication for EMEA - 2018, and by Innovate Finance as Standout 35, Women in Fintech 2019 and Women in Fintech Powerlist 2020, as well as finalist for the awards of ‘Tech Leader of the Year 2019’ by the UK Inclusion Board.

Ben Camm-Jones

Ben Camm-Jones has been writing about technology for more than 20 years as a journalist, editor and specialist copywriter for marketing and PR agencies.

His eye for a good story and ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts in plain English has helped scores of challenger brands establish a media presence and position themselves as thought leaders.

After graduating in 2000 from Goldsmiths College with a BA (Hons) in English Literature Ben worked on a number of technology-focused publications in both print and online. Over the following 12 years he developed skills in news writing and editing, as well as in-depth product reviews and industry analysis. He was also a regular pundit on BBC Radio and Sky News talking about topics as diverse as broadband provision in the UK and the role of social media in the Iranian uprising of 2009.    

Moving on from journalism, Ben was a founder member of a boutique PR agency working with some of the most exciting and innovative tech startups in London's Silicon Roundabout. There he provided consultancy for numerous B2B and B2C brands covering a wide variety of sectors including fintech, adtech, SaaS, cloud computing and consumer electronics, helping brands such as Transferwise and what3words take their first steps into tech media.

Known by friends, colleagues and clients alike as 'BCJ', Ben continues to utilise his expertise of technology and media by creating punchy, attention-grabbing content in a variety of formats for organisations of all sizes across multiple sectors.

David Claxton

Director of PR

With a decade of high level communications experience, David specialises in building impactful PR strategies, that drive media relations activities to maximise value for clients.

He has worked with large, multinational firms (Avis, Google, Ocado Technology, Pernod Ricard), along with more fast-growth firms (Fidor, FreeAgent, Otter.ai, Twilio), giving him the skills to assist with any communications challenge.

Previous to jumping into PR, David was a freelance journalist.

Lauren France

Marketing Assistant

After taking some time out to focus on three young children, Lauren has now joined the marketing team at TechFuse to assist with social media, marketing and graphic design projects. Lauren’s experience spans over 10 years working in marketing and design across a variety of sectors and industries. 

 

Having graduated from Thames Valley University in 2008, Lauren held several marketing management positions in high tech growth businesses in SaaS as well as Government Defense and language translations to name but a few.

 

Lauren can also provide a broad aspect of digital design and content alongside traditional marketing approaches such as event management, public relations, marketing communications and copywriting services.
